A polite note to recruitment agencies looking to work with us

If you’ve found this page, you’re likely a recruiter looking to place a candidate within our business. Welcome, and thank you for your interest.

Firstly, we are not anti-recruiter. In fact, we could be the easiest client you’ll work with. We know what we want and we’re prepared to pay to get it, however we do insist on the below ground rules to make both our lives easier.

The golden rules

Please don’t call us without prior arrangement
This is the golden rule to working with us. Our decision makers are a small team with a lot to do and we appreciate those who respect that. It really doesn’t matter who you know, how long you’ve known them or who you’ve worked for in the past, this is the unbreakable rule.

Our active jobs are on our careers page
There’s no secret information pipeline and you won’t hear from anyone else first about an upcoming role at Rightval. If you’d like to keep up with our recruitment plans please do follow our Twitter and LinkedIn pages

Only Submit candidates via our careers page
If you have a candidate you feel would be appropriate for a role at Rightval, please submit their details as the candidate would via our careers page but use your contact details instead of theirs. We’ll need their name to check they haven’t applied previously, but online is the only way of getting into our ATS.

We don’t work on an exclusive or retained basis
And have no intention to start so please don’t ask, the answer will always be no.

Our promise to you

We will get in touch with you directly
If you supply a candidate we are interested in, we will get in touch. If you don’t hear from us, please assume this is because they are not of interest. If we feel you have effectively matched a candidate with our requirements we will endeavour to provide feedback on why they aren’t quite right for the role.

We pay top rates for the best candidates
If we’re interested enough, we will pay. Let us be the judge of whether a candidate is out of our price range, they rarely are.

We don’t prejudice candidates via recruiters
We don’t care how they heard about us, we’re looking to build the best, most talented team we possibly can.


If you submit a candidate we are interested in, you need to enter into Rightval’s recruiter terms. We will provide these terms if we enter discussions with you. If you are unable to work within these terms, please don’t continue to submit candidates.
